Who is this pathway suitable for?

This pathway is suitable for any healthcare professional working in the field of physical therapy, including physiotherapists, osteopaths, chiropractors, occupational therapists, exercise and sport scientists.

The content and structure of the Master of Medicine/Science in Medicine (Pain Management) program is aligned with the curriculum framework identified by the International Association for the Ïã½¶Ö±²¥ of Pain (IASP).

This degree program provides comprehensive and advanced education on the basic and applied sciences relating to all types of pain. This focus has obvious relevance to participants undertaking specialty training. However, the degree program by itself is not usually sufficient for speciality training. Please check the specific requirements of your professional association.

Admission requirement

The Master of Science in Medicine requires a recognised bachelor’s degree in a health or science-related discipline with either the equivalent of first or second-class honours and/or equivalent work experience.
