Westmead Fertility Centre was pioneered by a group of gynaecologists and endocrinologists almost 40 years ago. It was their passion that drove Westmead Hospital to help make assisted reproductive technologies (ART) available in its very early days.

$100m game-changer creating a STEM future for Western Sydney girls

A donation of $100 million from the Khuda Family Foundation, the largest ever made to the University of Sydney, will fund an ambitious 20-year program, creating a pathway for girls from Western Sydney into STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) education and careers.

HopeStreet's vet clinic is bringing care, compassion and healing to pets and their owners

On a warm morning in Woolloomooloo, the HopeStreet pet clinic is bustling. The clinic, run by the University Veterinary Teaching Hospital Sydney in partnership with BaptistCare, hums with activity as pets and their owners wait their turn.

Our group varies across a huge number of disciplines from linguistics to media to philosophy to law (even students who are on exchange) and beyond, all brought together with a common passion to learn more about Indigenous Australia.

Uni 2 Beyond (U2B) is an innovative and award-winning social inclusion initiative for people with intellectual disability who want to experience university life.

Through U2B, participants are supported to take part in university life as audit (non-enrolled) students
