The Species Showdown | Wednesday 14 August, 6:30-8pm | Great Hall, The University of Sydney

Scientists will go head to head in the ultimate scientific rumble in the jungle. Get ready to engage your mind and join us for some serious fun as six University of Sydney scientists face off in a battle of wits about the survival of species on our planet.

�㽶ֱ�� in Visual Perception | Thursday 15 August, 6-7pm | Chau Chak Wing Museum, The University of Sydney

Explore how science is providing new insight into how our brain connects with art. This presentation by Professor David Alais will examine Austrian born artist Lily Greenham’s work �㽶ֱ�� in visual perception (1962-67) and show how effectively she reveals the brain’s visual processes in action as well as illustrating their limits.
