Accepting your offer

Received an offer from the University of Sydney? Congratulations!ÌýWe can't wait for you to join our vibrant student community. Here's what you need to do to accept your offer and secure your place at Sydney.

Types of offers

Conditional offers

If you receive a conditional offer, this means that you will be eligible to receive an unconditional/firm offer if you meet the conditions listed on the conditional offer letter. This could include:

  • completing your current studies
  • meeting the English language requirements.Ìý

If you receive a conditional offer, then the next step is for you to provide us with the evidence that we have requested on page 3 or 4 in your offer letter. Your application will be re-assessed once you’ve provided the required supporting documents to meet the condition(s) of your offer.Ìý

If you have applied with an agent, they can help you meet the condition(s)Ìýof your offer. You’re welcome to ask them to review your offer condition(s)Ìýtogether.

If you receive an unconditional offer, this will be clearly stated at the top of your offer letter. This means that your application to study at the University of Sydney has been successful.
