International students

Generally, applications open two years before the semesterÌýstart date. Closing dates are listed in the following table.

Important notes and exceptions

• If you are applying for aÌýSciences Po Dual DegreeÌýor aÌýdiploma, you need to apply directly to the University of Sydney, even if you are applying through UAC for your other preferences.
• Most international students apply directly to the University of Sydney but you'll need to apply through if you're currently studying for one of the following:Ìý
  • an Australian Year 12 qualification (for example, the NSW Higher School Certificate) in or outside Australia
  • an International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma in Australia

Juris Doctor exception

International students

• If you are applying for theÌýJuris Doctor, you must apply through our online application portal.

Applicants are advised to apply at least six to eight weeks prior to the start date to allow adequate time for processing and, if necessary, your visa application.ÌýSeparateÌýscholarship application deadlinesÌýapply. Please also check your faculty application deadlines as some may vary.
