The steeDA Conference was held from 3–5 December 2019 at the University of Sydney.Â
The event brought together leading researchers, government agencies, industry and the private sector to lay the foundations for future digital agriculture research and innovation.
Across three days, speakers and participants explored key themes including digital crop and soil management, digital livestock production, intelligent infrastructure, digital food supply chains, and the economics and policy of digital agriculture.
The conference focused on the knowledge underpinning and research required to deliver a functioning digital production and supply chain system for agricultural food and fibre. It particularly highlighted science, technology, engineering and economics, as well as social and legal issues. Contributions came from academics, government institutes, private industry, and the agricultural sector more broadly.
