We know that studying abroad is a big journey and certainly not an easy one.
It is normal to feel down at times, whether it is because of homesickness, academic stress and pressure, accommodation issues, or financial insecurity.
That’s why here at CET, you can access a range of free counselling services run by our professionally accredited counsellors. Services offered include:

If something is confidential, it means that it's private and the counsellor will not share it with anyone. Mental health professionals, including counsellor or psychologist, in Australia are prohibited by law from sharing your confidential information with anyone else, with a few exceptions to this rule (listed below).
CET counsellors will not disclose your personal information or attendance details with anyone outside of the CET Counselling and Wellbeing Support service except if:

Join SHAPE, our peer-led conversational workshops to learn, share, and discuss important topics related to sexual health and well-being in a safe, supportive environment. These workshops offer a judgment-free, inclusive space to engage in open discussions and build knowledge for a healthier, more informed life.
As an international student, you can access five free and easy-to-understand online modules about sexual health, relationships, and consent.
These modules were created by international students, for international students—so they’re designed with your experiences in mind. The information is based on research and shared in a respectful, supportive way, using a trauma-informed care approach.
Each module takes just 7 to 35 minutes to finish, and you’ll get a certificate when you complete each one. You can start learning today, at your own pace.

Preparing for Life in Australia is a self-paced Canvas course, designed to equip CET students with the essential knowledge required to successfully transition to life and study in Sydney.

Students are required to complete all modules prior to their first day of class.
Our city tours take you to explore the most famous neighbourhoods of Sydney including the Rocks, Newtown and Surry Hills. We'll discover some of the local history, the best places to eat and drink and see some of Sydney's most famous landmarks including the Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge.Â
Throughout the term, we'll visit some of Sydney's most famous museums and art galleries, including the Australian Museum, Hyde Park Barracks, and the Art Gallery of NSW, among others.
Join your classmates for themed movie nights, featuring everything from Halloween horrors to Valentine's Day romantic comedies. And of course, there will always be popcorn and snacks!
