Our Reproduction and Perinatal Centre brings together clinical and research leaders to enhance health outcomes for women, families and babies.
Togeher with our partners, we aim to achieve exceptional care to improve long-term health outcomes and clinical care for women, families and babies before conception, through to pregnancy and after birth.
In addition to research and clinical expertise, we are committed to establishing teaching and postgraduate research opportunities to train the next generation of researchers and clinicians responsible for the care of women and babies and the advancement of knowledge in the field.
The Reproduction and Perinatal Centre is centred around the vision of Professor Brian Trudinger who was previously Professor of Maternal and Fetal Medicine, Westmead Clinical School.
His vision was for a research centre focused on both preconception and pregnancy research, established to optimise both fertility and pregnancy outcomes leading to improved long-term maternal and neonatal health.Â
Together we can make an impact on the lives of women, families and babies.
We engage with our partners and community to enrich and improve the research we undertake. We're also committed to establishing education pathways to train the next generation of researchers and clinicians.
From higher degree researchers to leading senior academics, we bring together clinical and research leaders to improve long-term health outcomes for women, families and babies.
