Digital student cards are now available
All enrolled students now have the option to set up a digital student card. This works just like your physical student card (which will remain active) and can be used for University building access, SydPay, printing, library services and more. Follow the instructions on our new digital student cards website to download the app and start using your digital student card by tapping your iPhone, Apple Watch or other eligible Android device at readers across campus.
Please note that digital student cards will not be accepted as a form of identification for exams. You must use your physical card for identification for in-semester tests and end-of-semeter exams.Ìý
If your card is lost, stolen or damaged, you’ll need to . Keep a record of your receipt number, since you'll need to add it to your request form in step 2.
You don’t need to pay if you’re requesting a replacement card due to a name change, your old card has expired, or is unreadable because of wear and tear.

Once we've processed your request, we’ll send instructions to your student email about receiving your card. This can take 5-10 business days. The email will include a link where you can book an appointment to collect your card on Camperdown/Darlington campus.
If you can't collect it from Camperdown/Darlington campus due to your course enrolment or requirements (for example, you are studying at a different campus), you may be able to .Ìý

Your existing SydPay account will be linked to your new card when it’s issued, so you don’t need to transfer funds.
If you lose your Concession Opal card, contact Opal Customer Care on 13 67 25 (13 OPAL) to report it immediately and order a replacement.
