Lendlease Bradfield Urbanisation Scholarship: 5 reasons to apply
1. Get financial support for your studies
Valued at $10,000 a year for the duration of your degree, the Lendlease Bradfield Urbanisation Scholarship will provide you with financial freedom and support during your studies.
The scholarship is open to first and second year undergraduate University of Sydney students from the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, Faculty of Engineering and Information Technologies, Business School and School of Architecture, Design and Planning. You should be interested in issues related to urbanism, such as urban development, urban planning, urban design, project finance, project or facilities management, public policy, or engineering.

How do you envision Sydney in the future 鈥� and how we can influence it for the better? By applying for the 2018 Lendlease Bradfield Urbanisation Scholarship, you鈥檒l get the opportunity to share your ideas and passion with the individuals and organisations currently working to shape the Sydney of the future.
Your written application will be reviewed by leading academic experts in urbanism from across the University of Sydney. If you are selected as a scholarship finalist you鈥檒l have the opportunity to present your vision in person to leaders in industry, government and the media.
鈥淚 was given the chance to present my idea to Steve McCann, the CEO and Managing Director of Lendlease, and also present my acceptance speech at the Bradfield Oration in front of Lucy Turnbull and [then NSW Premier] Mike Baird,鈥� says Bachelor of Architecture and Environments student .

You鈥檒l also receive an invite to the exclusive Bradfield Oration where you鈥檒l rub shoulders with leaders from the corporate, political and academic worlds and find out what鈥檚 in store for our city in the years to come.
Though not included as part of the scholarship, some of our past finalists have also been offered internships at Lendlease. In 2017, scholarship recipient Kate was awarded an internship, which she described as 鈥渁n amazing opportunity for any university student, let alone a first-year architecture student鈥�.
