Types of postgraduate qualifications

The degree you choose will depend on what you want and need.

It's possible to start with the shortest form of study, a graduate certificate (6 months), then extend your studies to complete a diploma (1 year) or a master's degree (1-2 years) or an extended master's degree (3-4 years).

6 months full-time study

A graduate certificate typically offers the essential or core units of study towards a master's degree. With the option to progress to a graduate diploma or master's degree. It is a good option if you want to extend your existing knowledge base or upskill in a particular area to develop or advance your career.

It is an excellent option if you want to upskill and get a solid grounding in your chosen field or don't want to commit to a master's degree.
